Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about setting up and tweaking parameters.

Android Device: Android 7.0 or higher with Wi-Fi network access. A device with motion sensors is required for motion steering.

PC Platform: Windows 10 or Windows 11 with the Companion Driver installed. A home Wi-Fi network is required to connect your devices.
This is usually caused by one of three issues:
  1. Companion Driver is missing: Ensure you ran the driver installer and restarted your computer. You can re-install it using the download button at the top of this page.
  2. Firewall blocking connection: Make sure you allowed the Companion App network access when prompted, or temporarily check your antivirus firewall settings to allow home network sharing.
  3. Active Game window: Some games only register inputs when they are actively selected. Make sure your game window is focused and active on your monitor.
Lag or stutters are typically caused by busy home networks or Wi-Fi interference. Try these adjustments:
  • Use a 5GHz Wi-Fi connection rather than 2.4GHz on your phone for a stronger and faster connection.
  • Connect your Windows PC to the router directly using an Ethernet cable instead of Wi-Fi.
  • Avoid running heavy background downloads, file sharing, or video streams on your network while gaming.
  • Adjust the update rate inside the mobile app settings if your Wi-Fi is busy.
Inside the Layout Builder screen on the mobile app, create a new button and set its type to **Combo**. Tap the edit icon to bind multiple buttons to it (for example: A + B + Trigger). Pressing the combo button during a game will instantly trigger all those bound actions at once.
Phone motion sensors can sometimes drift slightly. Tap the reset/calibration button on your dashboard screen while keeping your phone flat on a tabletop to easily center your aim.
