The Gamepad Controllers team ("we", "our", or "us") provides software that lets you turn an Android-powered mobile device into a game controller for a Windows-powered PC. This Privacy Policy details our data governance practices when using our mobile app on Google Play and our PC Companion App.
We strongly believe in absolute digital privacy. Because the Gamepad Controllers system is designed strictly for real-time gaming control over your own home Wi-Fi network, **no data ever leaves your home**.
Our Android application requests specific hardware and network permissions. Here is exactly why these permissions are required:
Your gaming controls (joystick movements, button presses, trigger levels, and steering angles) are processed instantly into a lightweight format.
These controller signals are sent directly over your home Wi-Fi network to the PC Companion App on your computer. These signals contain absolutely no personal information or tracking data, only standard controller commands to let you play your games.
Any custom gamepad layouts you design are saved entirely on your phone. They are stored locally within the app's secure private storage so they are ready the next time you play, and they are never uploaded to any external server.
The Gamepad Controllers application uses trusted and secure open-source software libraries to ensure smooth performance. This includes the helper driver that lets Windows recognize standard gaming controllers. All parts of the app follow standard open and secure licensing agreements.
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to remain fully compliant with Google Play guidelines. If we change any settings or permission requirements in the future, we will post the updates on this page.
